Effects of surfactants on the morphology and lithium storage performance of LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 cathode materials

    摘要:

    表面活性剂在材料合成时具有形貌控制方面的重要作用,为提高镍三元正极材料LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2的综合电化学性能,本文通过在正极材料前驱体LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1(OH)2合成过程中加入不同的表面活性剂来控制三元材料的形貌,并对煅烧后所得的高镍三元产物材料LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2进行形貌和电化学性能分析,结果表明:利用表面活性剂合成的产物材料有着更加规整的形貌和晶体结构稳定性;分别添加十二烷基苯磺酸钠、蔗糖、十六烷基三甲基溴化铵以及聚乙二醇之后,首次充电比容量分别可以达到2322mAh·g -1、2481mAh·g -1、2313mAh·g -1以及2161mAh·g -1,其中十六烷基三甲基溴化铵的样品首次放电比容量达到1939mAh·g -1,且循环性能良好,这表明表面活性剂的辅助合成有利于材料的形貌控制与电化学性能的提高。

    Abstract:

    Surfactants play an important role in morphology control during materials synthesis. In order to improve the comprehensive electrochemical performance of the high nickel ternary cathode material LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 the surfactants were used to control the morphology of the ternary material. Different surfactants were added in the synthesis process of the cathode material precursor LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1 (OH)2 to control the morphology of ternary materials, and then morphology and electrochemical performance of LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 the high nickel ternary product material obtained from calcining, were analyzed. The results show that the product materials synthesized by surfactants have more regular morphology and crystal structural stability. The electrochemical test shows that the specific capacity of the first charge can reach 2322, 2481, 2313 and 2161mAh·g -1 after adding sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, sucrose, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide and polyethylene glycol. Among them, the first discharge specific capacity of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide reaches 1939mAh·g -1, and the cyclic performance is good, which indicates that the auxiliary synthesis of surfactants is beneficial to the morphology control and electrochemical performance improvement of materials.
