China Mining Engineering was founded in 1972, originally titled "Nonferrous Mines". It is a national scientific and technological journal overseen by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and sponsored by China Nonferrous Engineering Co., Ltd. It is published bimonthly in a large sextodecimo format. The journal was selected as a Peking University Chinese Core Journal in 1992 (first edition) and 1996, and has received honors such as "CAJ-CD Standard Award-Winning Journal" and "Fourth China Nonferrous Metals C-Level Excellent Journal". It was also selected for the China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan (Phase II). Currently, the journal is indexed in databases such as CAS, CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, and Chaoxing.
"China Mine Engineering" primarily reports on the construction and production of mine engineering projects both domestically and internationally, introduces scientific research achievements such as new technologies, processes, and materials, exchanges scientific management experiences in mining, and disseminates real-time dynamic information about the mining industry. The journal has a significant influence across the entire mining industry and has a wide readership.
