      Abstract:Digital design delivery of mine engineering builds the static digital asset model of engineering project, which is the only way to realize digital mine and intelligent mine from the source, and also an important link for design enterprises to expand and transform to operational business. This paper analyzes the existing problems in the current digital design and delivery of mine engineering, puts forward the solution of digital design and delivery based on the mine information model, and introduces the construction contents of MIM digital design platform and MIM digital delivery platform.

      Abstract:This paper analyzes the significance, functional characteristics and architectural design of the design and calculation platform for mine engineering, and introduces the functions of the platform in design and calculation of shafts and underground roadways, mining equipment calculation, deep-shaft mine heat load calculation and hydrogeological calculation. The actual application of the calculation platform has achieved the expected effect of improving the design quality, efficiency and standardization.

      Abstract:According to the complex operation environment and multi-source, heterogeneous, hierarchical and cross-domain information environment in the underground mining areas of metal mines, this paper breaks through technological bottlenecks including stable transmission of low bandwidth data of industrial Internet, safe and stable penetration, multi-source and heterogeneous data fusion,etc., studies the method of multi-dimensional data collection and cloud transmission in metal mines based on edge computing and builds an intelligent agent and distribution system for data collection of metal mines. It provides complete data support for research and development of intelligent management and control technology for metal mines based on big data and offers effective solution for research on mining process and equipment data collection and cloud transmission of metal mines.

      Abstract:Pre-conditioning by hydraulic fracturing is an important auxiliary caving technology in the production process of block caving mine, which plays a vital role in improving rock cavability. Relying on the application research project of preconditioning by hydraulic fracturing at the start mining area of 410m level in Tongkuangyu Copper Mine, the technology and related equipment of pre-conditioning by hydraulic fracturing in block caving mine were formed and successfully used in advancing caving rate and decreasing oversize rate. Some new study thoughts are given to promote hydraulic fracturing pre-conditioning technology.

    • Analysis on the Disturbance Effect of Large-scale Drift Filling and Mining in Deep Shaft

      Abstract:In this paper, Jinchuan No.2 Mine with drift and fill stoping is taken as the research object. Numerical simulation on three different mining methods, namely level, panel and drift mining, are carried out, with comparison and analysis made on the stress, plastic zone and displacement in the mining process. The results show that as the mining simulation refines, the maximum principal stress, plastic zone range and displacement continuously decrease. Therefore,in the process of rock mechanics simulation, the grid should be refined as much as possible and the actual mining methods should be reproduced to reduce the disturbance effect of mining simulation. The research can provide reference for numerical simulation of mining.

    • Study on Stope Structure Parameters of Deep-shaft and Large-scale Panel

      Abstract:As the mining of mineral resources gradually goes deep, the problem of high geostress will be encountered. The exploration of stope structure under high stress environment is the key to large-scale and high-efficiency mining. With Sishanling Iron Ore Mine as the research object, this paper will carry out the research on the stope structure of large-diameter deep-hole open stope with subsequent filling, simulate and analyze the traditional strip stope and square stope. The research shows that square stope layout is more favorable to stress distribution and engineering stability than strip stope layout. Therefore, it is recommended that the Sishanling Iron Ore Mine adopt 40m × 40m square stope for deep shaft mining, which can also provide reference for large-scale mining of the similar deep and thick mines.

    • Study on Rheological Properties of High Concentration Unclassified Tailings Filling Slurry and Resistance Loss Along Pipeline Transportation

      Abstract:In order to improve the comprehensive utilization rate of tailings and reduce the storage capacity pressure of tailings pond, a gold mine needs to transform the existing classified tailings filling system into a high-concentration unclassified tailings filling system. In this paper, the unclassified tailings filling slurry of this gold mine is taken as the research object, and the rheological properties and influence patterns of the unclassified tailings filling slurry with different mass concentrations and lime-sand ratios are analyzed through indoor rheological tests. Based on FLUENT software, the numerical simulation model of filling pipeline transportation in the whole mine is established, and the results show that the numerical simulation model features high accuracy, which has important guiding significance for optimizing mine filling system. According to the calculation results of resistance loss along the way, the maximum allowable ratio of filling pipe line length and height Nmax and critical transportation concentration of unclassified tailings cemented filling slurry are calculated, which provides reliable data support for the design of the next-stage filling system of the mine.

      Abstract:With the popularization and application of backfill mining method in thick and large ore body mining, improving the quality of filling body has become an important link in mining process. In this paper, the filling process is optimized from the aspects of concentration control of filling slurry, setting of filling facilities in stope, selection of binding materials, etc. The technical routes such as selecting appropriate barricade, improving dehydration of fill mass, and adopting filling binding materials with low hydration heat and high strength are put forward to improve the quality of thick and large filling mass.

      Abstract:Comprehensive utilization of tailings is a necessary way to build a green tailings-free mine. Faced with the progress of technology, the policy change and market uncertainty, comprehensive utilization facilities and filling system of tailings should have certain adaptability. According to the actual situation of a mine, the tailings produced by the concentrator of the mine are categorized into unclassified tailings, classified fine tailings and classified coarse tailings. Through experimental research and theoretical calculation, the total tailings amount, fine tailings amount and operating cost consumed by different tailings as filling materials are analyzed. On this basis, the optimized design and key equipment of the filling system are studied, and the optimal filling processes which can adapt to various filling conditions such as unclassified tailings filling, classified coarse tailings filling and classified fine tailings filling are put forward.

    • Discussion on Communition Process of Extremely Hard Ore

      Abstract:This paper discusses the advantages and problems of semi-autogenous grinding process(SAG) in treating extremely hard ore, and puts forward that the vertical mill, a fine grinding equipment, is introduced into the traditional semi-autogenous grinding process, forming SABCV semi-autogenous grinding process. This process can not only overcome the low efficiency of traditional ball mill in treating fine ore, reduce the energy consumption per unit ore, but also avoid over-crushing and improve the grinding efficiency. The goal of grinding an extremely hard ore from P80 120mm to P80 53μm has been achieved, and good economic indexes have been obtained, which provides a new approach for studying the communition process of extremely hard ore.

    • Time History Analysis of Seismic Stability of a Centerline Tailings Dam

      Abstract:In the process of seismic analysis of tailings dam, when dynamic finite element method is used for stability calculation of a dam slope, there is no evaluation standard and basis. By referring to the commonly used method for seismic stability analysis of earth-rock dam in hydraulic engineering, the judgment criteria is proposed for time history analysis of seismic stability of tailings dam, namely the cumulative time with safety factor below 1.0 is less than 2s. Through calculation and analysis of a centerline tailings dam, under the action of three seismic waves with horizontal and vertical ground motion taken into account at the same time, when the cumulative time of the dam slopes anti-sliding stability safety factor of less than 1.0 is respectively 0.64s, 0.52s and 0.22s, it can be determined that the tailings dam meets the requirement of seismic stability. The analysis method adopted can provide a certain reference for the seismic stability calculation of similar tailings dam projects.

    • Analysis of Settlement and Deformation of Tailings Pond With  Dam Constructed at One Go on Deep Overburden

      Abstract:Tailings dam built on deep overburden with great compressibility will result in great settlement, especially by adopting the form of damming at one go. By taking a tailings pond in Qinghai as an example, SIGMA/W module of Geostudio software performs a simulation calculation on the settlement of tailings dam. The result shows that increasing excavation depth of foundation clearing can reduce the settlement of the dam body and dam foundation, but the effect isnt obvious; superelevation should be fully considered in design of tailings dam built on deep overburden. After completion of dam body construction and basic completion of dam body settlement, it is guaranteed that the dam crest elevation meets the design requirement.

    • Development and Construction Model of Chinese Mines under “Dual Carbon”Goal

      Abstract:With the signing of Paris Agreement, China has been accelerating emission reduction campaign, and has made corresponding strategic deployment to achieve the “dual carbon”goal of carbon emission peak in 2030 and carbon neutrality in 2060 on schedule. Under such circumstance, the mining industry in China will also usher in a large-scale transformation in the mix of energy consumption and industrial structure. The investigation and research on the current carbon emission source of mining enterprises at home and broad, carbon neutrality method already implemented in mines and the future low-carbon technologies to be developed will provide a significant scientific basis for the development of green mines and referential value for the transformation of mining industry in China. This paper reviews the composition and accounting method for greenhouse gas emissions in the mining industry; the implementation path and scheme of carbon neutrality action in mining enterprises and development direction of new technologies on energy conservation and emission reduction and auxiliary carbon sink projects.
