    Abstract:

One open-pit copper mine employs pre-split blasting control technology for steep end-slope mining. To further optimize the pre-split blasting parameters and analyze their impact on blasting effectiveness, this study introduces a multiple linear regression model. The target variables are the pre-split hole spacing and the distance from the pre-split crack to the buffer hole row, while the unfragmented rock volume serves as the predictor variable. Pre-split blasting experiments are conducted using a two-factor three-level uniform design method. The research findings are as follows: ① The multiple linear regression model achieves a good fit with ,indicating its suitability for optimizing pre-split blasting parameters; ② Keeping other pre-split blasting parameters constant, it is recommended to select pre-split hole spacing and the distance from the pre-split crack to the buffer hole row as 1.1m and 2.4m, respectively, to achieve the best blasting results; ③ Pre-split hole spacing shows a positive correlation with the unfragmented rock volume, while the distance from the pre-split crack to the buffer hole row has a greater impact on the unfragmented rock volume.
