Mine survey technology provides technical and construction basis for mine，correctness of production guidance in mining engineering, protect and supervise the rational development of mineral resources, through the whole process of mining, the measured data must be detailed, true and reliable, in order to play a guarantee role in mine production. In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology, mine measurement technology also has significant technological innovation. This paper mainly discusses the main role of 3D laser scanner and supporting software in mine production engineering through the practical application of handheld 3D laser scanner.
