    Abstract:

    A lead-zinc oxide ore in Yunnan Province is directly treated by the existing smelting process with high cost, this ore can be pre-concentrated by mineral processing, which provides favorable conditions for economic development and utilization of the ore. In this paper, pre-concentration of the ore is carried out through a method of mineral processing, the experimental results show that the effective pre-concentration of the ore can be achieved by the principle process of “sulfur before oxygen, lead before zinc”, the lead grade of the ore is increased from 5.28% to 10.63%, and the zinc grade of the ore is increased from 11.40% to 22.94% on the premise that the loss rates of lead and zinc are 10.88% and 8.61% respectively.
