Abstract:Steel headframe is a core structure of mine hoist system. Currently, first-order elastic analysis has remained the widely used method for steel structure stability design. The current standards only stipulate the value range of calculated length coefficient of the steel headframe diagonal braces without giving specific solution method. Euler’s formula and buckling analysis can be used to solve calculated length coefficient of diagonal braces. The analysis software MIDAS GEN is used to perform linear buckling analysis on the headframe model in actual projects, with the procedure of solving calculated length coefficient introduced in detail, which can provide reference for similar projects.
