Based on the evaluation of a foreign copper mine project, this paper introduces the application of MIM in project evaluation procedures including establishment of underground mine resource model, rock mechanics research, 3D design of pit, 3D engineering design, 3D simulation of ventilation, excavation schedule, cost estimate and financial analysis,etc. and explores a new consulting design method and approach.
