This paper takes the development and utilization of low-grade ore in two mines of gene nickel industry as the background，it has adopted many ways, such as organization optimization, technological transformation, seeking policy support, and adopting both the rich and the poor. The practice results show that, combined with the actual situation of mines and deposits, through the effective combination of various ways, the development and utilization level of low-grade ores can be greatly improved.
