All parties involved in the act of publishing should abide by standards of expected ethical behaviors. The reviewers, editors, authorsand publisher of this journal should follow these guidelines to ensure the originality, scientificity, innovation and practicability of the scientific papers.
1. Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers include the editors-in-chief, the executive editors-in-chief and peer reviewers.
1)Reviewers should maintain academic integrity, and not be influenced by acquaintances to lower academic and ethical standards.
2)Reviewers should confirm that authors cited relevant published work in the manuscript. Any statement that experimental-observation data, derivation, or argument had been previously reported should be accompanied by the relevant citation.
3)If reviewers finds that there are some problems in the paper, such as wrong opinions, knowledge errors, serious duplication and suspected forgery of data, they should timely call to the editor’s attention. If plagiarism or articlemulti-submission is found, reviewers should immediately notify the editor.
4)Reviewers should be objective and fair, respecting diverse academic viewpoints and avoiding impolite, derogatory, or subjective comments. The reviewer should express their views clearly with appropriate supporting arguments.
5)The peer reviewers should keep the contents of the reviewing manuscripts confidential, and not disclose the articleinformation for personal advantages.After completing the review, reviewers must not retain any form of the article and must comply with data protection regulations.
6)Any invited referee who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a article or know that its timely review will be impossible, should immediately notify the editor so that alternative reviewers can be contacted.
2. Duties of Editors
1)Editors should make decisions for acceptance of submitted articles in accordance with the policies of the journal’s editorial board and other relevant requirements. Editors should not be tempted by personal advantage to reject or accept articles.
2)Editors should maintain academic integrity, and call to account the academic misconduct of all parties involved in the manuscript.Editors should ensure the fairness of the initial article review process, selecting manuscripts based on scientific merit (scientific value, originality, clarity) and aligning with the journal's publication positioning. Consideration should not be given to the author's affiliation, nationality, race, gender, age, or other personal circumstances.
3)Editors should follow the confidentiality regulations. The editor must not disclose any information of a submitted paper to anyone other than the relevant authors and reviewers.
4)Editors should promptly provide authors with feedback on expert review comments, supporting academic discussions, and facilitating communication between authors and reviewers. However, authors should be allowed to appeal editorial decisions.
3. Duties of Authors
1)Authors who report on original research must give a detailed description of their work. The relevant data should also be presented. Authors should also provide enough details and instances so that others are able to repeat such research work.
2)Authors should fully participate in the research and ensure authenticity of their work. Plagiarism should be avoided, and previously published work used in manuscripts should be appropriately cited or quoted.
3)Authors must not submit one article to more than one journal at the same time, nor shall they publish the article describing the same research content in more than one journal. That is, one article multi-submission or concurrent publication is prohibited.
5)Manuscripts provided by authors should meet the relevant requirements in the "Instruction for Authors" of this journal.
6)All funding projects during the research work should be acknowledged and annotated in the manuscript.
7)Authorship should be limited to those who have made contributions to the research work, and significant contributors should be listed as co-authors or corresponding author. Those who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project should be acknowledged or listed as contributors, and no unreasonable authorship can be added at will. All authors should have read and agreed to the publication of the final revisedmanuscript.
8)If it is found that there are significant errors or inaccurate descriptions in the published articles, authors are obliged to notify the editor in time and retract the articles.
