    • Research on the Data Dynamic Visualization of Hydrometallurgical Process in the In-situ Leaching of Ionic Rare Earth Ore Based on Digital Twin

      Abstract:Utilizing digital twin technology as the support system, the digital empowerment of hydrometallurgical process could be integrated planning with the focus on real-time analysis of massive data resource, which could be generated from the producing process of hydrometallurgical plant of ionic rare earth ore, data visualization, sensing equipment and optimizing analysis. With the construction of digital twin model referring to each process in the hydrometallurgical plant of ionic rare earth ore, dynamic visualization of data generated from the hydrometallurgical plant of ionic rare earth ore could be presented with developing a “big picture”, in order to realize both the spatial and temporal dynamics of hydrometallurgical process. Through integrating the four primary producing processes of leaching, impurity removing, precipitating and filtering, multi-node data channel could be opened up, in favor of the data convergence and sharing of intelligent hydrometallurgical plant and further providing comprehensive and multi-dimensional data monitoring information. As a result, the management of hydrometallurgical plant of ionic rare earth ore could be well supported with the improving of equipment utilization and production efficiency so as to achieve the reducing of costs and the optimizing of producing capacity. Furthermore, the intelligent decision-making capability of hydrometallurgical process could be enhanced.

      Abstract:In response to the problems of heavy workload, high labor intensity, and high dust hazard in manual cleaning of rock debris after drilling, this article proposes three ash and slag removal schemes: six claw type, independent trolley type, and slag bucket type. The overall technical scheme, system composition, working principle, advantages and disadvantages of these three methods are discussed, and relevant equipment is developed. Laboratory and on-site experiments are conducted, By optimizing and comparing, the final solution is to use a slag pouring bucket. The on-site use has shown good results, which is of great significance for improving the intelligent technical level and work efficiency of drilling operations.

      Abstract:The quality of hot-cleaning electrolytic-nickel directly affects the appearance of finished electrolytic-nickel, to which all enterprises attach great importance. In this paper, the characteristics of both cleaning methods of inverted hot cleaning and hanging spraying has been analyzed and compared. The structural principle and effect of the newly developed Automatic Hot-Cleaning System for Electrolytic-Nickel Inverted are also introduced in detail. In the industry, the automatic hot cleaning processing of piles of nickel plates has been realized for the first time, and the program control of the hot-cleaning process has been achieved at the same time.

    • Influence of Heat Treatment Parameters on Mechanical Properties of Grinding Ball for Mines

      Abstract:In order to further improve the Rockwell hardness and impact toughness of the grinding ball for mines, the mechanical properties, microstructure and phase characteristics of the grinding ball under different heat treatment conditions were studied. The results show that the microstructure of the grinding ball under different heat treatment conditions is composed of martensite, carbide and retained austenite. The microstructure characteristics of the matrix, the shape and distribution of carbide and the proportion of retained austenite all affect the performance of the grinding ball. With the increase of austenitizing temperature, the hardness increased first and then decreased, while the impact toughness decreased continuously. With the extension of austenitized holding time, both hardness and impact toughness increased first and then decreased. The hardness decreased continuously and the impact toughness fluctuation increased as the tempering temperature increased. With the extension of tempering holding time, the hardness does not change obviously, while the impact toughness decreased. For experimental grinding balls, the appropriate heat treatment process is to hold at 950℃ for 3h, and then quickly quenched in oil, and then tempered at 300℃ for 3h. Under this condition, the Rockwell hardness of the grinding ball is 62.58HRC and the impact toughness is 4.92J, which can be increased by 5.2% and 51.9% compared with the product grinding ball, respectively.

      Abstract:The operating condition of the flotation machine is complex, and the speed, gas volume and feeding are all changing in real time. These changes will have an impact on the internal flow field, and cause the change of the force on the flotation machine impeller, and then affect the reliability of the operating parts of the flotation machine. Therefore, the author established a fluid-solid coupling experimental platform which can simulate different working conditions on site. Embedded micro pressure sensor and wireless data transmission module were used to detect the pressure change on the impeller blade of the flotation machine in real time. The pressure change detection was used as a means to reveal the pressure change rule on the impeller blade under the condition of feed fluctuation through data analysis. The research has certain guiding significance for optimizing the structure of flotation machine impeller.

    • Lightweight Design and Simulation of Large Diaphragm Pump Piston Rod

      Abstract:The piston rod is an important component of a large diaphragm pump, and its weight affects the sealing performance of the piston. A high-quality piston rod can easily cause a large force on the bottom of the piston sealing ring, and the top seal is not tightly sealed, resulting in piston seal leakage or even failure, affecting the operational performance of the diaphragm pump. In order to reduce the weight of piston rod of diaphragm pump and its influence on the sealing performance of piston, and improve the efficiency of diaphragm pump, a new type of lightweight piston rod was designed based on the piston rod of a certain type of diaphragm pump, and the new piston rod with different structure parameters is simulated. The results show that necking diameter D and fillet radius A have the greatest influence on the maximum equivalent stress of piston rod, and the maximum equivalent stress decreases with the increase of necking diameter D and fillet radius A The influence of inclination angle B and fillet radius C angle on the maximum stress is not obvious.

      Abstract:With the steady development of China's economy, it has become the development trend of mining enterprises to build smart mines and vigorously develop mine informatization and intelligence.This paper introduces the design scheme of a mine intelligent ore transport robot controlled by PLC (programmable controller). The software, hardware combination, electrical control principle and workflow of the intelligent ore transport robot suitable for the 36-row measurement shaft of Jin Chuan Mine are introduced in detail, and the overall design scheme of the mine intelligent ore transport robot based on PLC control is given.

      Abstract:At present, bauxite resources are scarce, and the use of bauxite in alumina plants is complex, low grade and high carbon content in ore, resulting in increased unit energy consumption and reduced production capacity. Meanwhile, the accumulation of sodium carbonate in alumina production has adverse effects on multiple processes such as dissolution, settlement, decomposition and evaporation, so the work of carbon emission and impurity removal is imminent. At present, the aluminum oxide plant mainly adopts evaporation forced effect salt-discharge causticization process to remove sodium carbonate system, but the process is complicated, the carbon emission cost is high and the carbon emission capacity is limited. Through technical transformation of the side flow causticization series vertical leaf filter carbon removal process, the comprehensive carbon removal capacity of the system is improved, the types of bauxite are expanded, and the production cost is further reduced.

      Abstract:Intelligent ventilation in mines is an important component of intelligent construction in mines. This article outlines the composition and functions of intelligent ventilation systems for non coal mines, with a focus on key technologies such as intelligent perception of mine ventilation systems, real-time calculation of ventilation networks, fault diagnosis of ventilation systems, and AI intelligent video recognition. In response to the complex ventilation network and lack of explosion-proof requirements in non coal mine underground mines, this paper analyzes in detail the key links in the construction of intelligent ventilation systems for non coal mine mines, such as the evaluation and rectification of ventilation networks, frequency conversion transformation of ventilation equipment, and automatic control and adjustment of air doors and windows.

    • Analysis and Solution of Top Blowing Furnace

      Abstract:A copper company is the first copper smelting enterprise in the world to adopt side-blowing + top-blowing copper smelting process with a single production capacity of 300kt/a, which makes this copper smelting process reach a breakthrough production capacity height. The production of the side blowing furnace is generally normal, but the top blowing furnace has a big gap in the earlier construction process, in the later stage of production, there are some important problems such as too high temperature of furnace bottom and floating of refractory brick in working layer of furnace bottom, this paper points out the cause of the big gap in the process of building the top blowing furnace and the basic reason of the bottom problem caused by the unreasonable structure of the top blowing furnace body and the setting of the expansion gap, and put forward the solution to these problems.

      Abstract:This article introduces the new generation fully automatic electromagnetic gravity separation equipment LONGi Magnet Co., Ltd. It solved some problems in the production application of the older one which is successfully applied to improve Fe grade in copper tailings. In response to the difficulty of extracting iron from some copper mine tailings through the iron separation process, it is necessary to replace the flotation process. The research and development process, from laboratory data analysis to industrial solution customization, to data analysis during production, has demonstrated the superior performance and reliability of the new generation fully automatic magnetic flotation separation. The necessity of continuing fine sorting of magnetic gravity separation products has been verified. A new route has been opened up for improving the quality of copper tailings and iron products both domestically and internationally.

      Abstract:Based on the actual situation of 66kV substation in copper smelting enterprises, this paper discusses the substation expansion design scheme through theoretical analysis, scientific calculation and the current equipment level. The main contents of the discussion include: the site layout scheme of the extension part. The electrical parameters of three transformers in three operating modes are analyzed and compared to determine the main circuit switchgear and line configuration on the 66kV side. 10kV side copper tube bus load, dynamic stability and thermal stability check calculation; Secondary equipment configuration and main protection setting, lightning protection range calculation after lightning rod shift, etc. Practice has proved that the expanded substation runs well, meets the needs of enterprises and achieves the design purpose.
