Abstract:With the porous fibrous ceramic tube used as filtration medium, the dust-removal process using zero-baselined high voltage pulse as dust pre-charging means was investigated. The influence of maxima of high voltage pulse upon the dust-removal results was analyzed. It is revealed by the results: zero-baselined high voltage pulse could benefit the filtration of Al(OH)3 dust with size in micrometer scale, however, it exhibits weak influences upon nano-scaled fumed silica. In this paper, we analyzed the cause of the phenomenon mentioned above in the perspective of charging mechanism of high voltage pulse. It could be concluded from the results that: as for the normal industrial micro-meter scaled powder, pre-charging dusts with zero-baselined high voltage pulse is a very effective promoting tactic for dust removal.

Abstract:In this paper, the HOR anodic polarization behavior of Raney-nickel GDE at different current densities is analyzed. The DCIR and EIS analyses show that the ohmic drop and electrochemical polarization together constitute the potential loss at the beginning of the discharge of Raney-nickel GDE; the relaxation analysis shows that the concentration polarization rules the potential loss during the discharge of Raney-nickel GDE. The above “current-HOR polarization” relationship is helpful for the design, fabrication and application of Ni-based GDE in alkaline fuel cells, anionic membrane fuel cells and Ni-H2 gas cells.

Abstract:This paper takes the full-process digital, intelligent and efficient double-plate double-station intelligent zinc stripping machine developed by Beimine Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. as the research object, introduces the overall structure and work flow of the intelligent zinc stripping machine, analyzes the stripping mechanism of the core link of the stripping process of the zinc stripping machine, establishes the pre-stripping mechanical model, and analyzes the complex factors affecting the stripping effect. The quadratic regression orthogonal design mathematical model was constructed by orthogonal test method, and the variation law of stripping load of intelligent zinc stripper under multi-factor coupling was analyzed, which provided theoretical reference and technical support for the research of performance mechanism of intelligent zinc stripper.

Abstract:M5211-6-UM vertical boron diffusion furnace is used in boron diffusion process of crystalline silicon solar cells, which has the characteristics of full automation, high capacity, low energy consumption and convenient maintenance. This paper introduces the structure and performance of this type of equipment, and gives the energy consumption and process results. The results show that the equipment has reached the leading level in China and has the conditions for industrialization.

Abstract:The lead melting furnace is commonly used in lead smelting process with a high energy demand and carbon emission. The regenerative lead melting furnace is widely used in recent years, which uses flue gas heat recovery to reduce energy consumption, and also uses the natural gas as energy which has advantages such as high heat-value, low carbon emissions, high combustion effect. From the natural gas trunk line to the down-stream metallurgical factories, the pressure of natural gas must be dropped down to adjust to the need of down-stream factories. So it is important to keep the up-stream natural gas stations and gas pressure regulating stations operating safely to ensure the down-stream lead smelting in the normal status. The 3D fluid simulation is an effective analysis method for the regenerative lead melting furnace gas supply pipeline system pressure rising operation of the gas station. With a numerical simulation of the semi-enclosed pipeline system pressure rising from 2.0MPa to 5.1MPa, the transient 3D pressure contours can be generated, which is used to analyze safety weakness theoretically. Also the simulation conclusions is useful for the design and layout of the pipelines and facilities of the natural gas stations.

Abstract:The concentration of arsenic in the indium extractant residue recovered from a zinc smelter in Gansu province is high, and the removal of arsenic by neutralization precipitation method will easily lead to the loss of a large amount of valuable metal zinc. In this paper, the application advantages of H2S in the treatment of waste acid in nonferrous industry to remove high concentration arsenic are discussed,The results show that the controlled removal of arsenic from indium residue can be realized by H2S curing process,the higher the hydrogen sulfide flux, the higher the arsenic removal efficiency, When the influent of hydrogen sulfide is 1.15 times of the theoretical dosage, the arsenic concentration in the secondary sulphide effluent can be controlled below 0.05g/L, and the arsenic removal rate is up to 99.63%, At the same time, it can reduce the loss of zinc in the process of production, and can produce certain economic benefits, so it has a certain application prospect.

Abstract:This paper introduces the working principle and composition of the anodic protection acid cooler in the flue gas acid production system of the roasting system in the northwest Lead and zinc smelter of Baiyin Nonferrous Metals Group, and analyzes the corrosion leakage phenomenon of the anodic protection acid cooler and the problems that can not be found and treated effectively in time. From the aspect of monitoring technology, an effective reform scheme is proposed, and the acid leakage alarm device is applied in actual production. It can detect the leakage of anode protection acid cooler in time, reduce the damage rate of equipment and water pollution, and ensure the smooth operation of the production system.

Abstract:The temperature and volume of flue gas produced by copper smelting anode furnace fluctuate greatly, resulting in drastic changes in heat capacity, which requires cooling before entering the subsequent dust collection system. Based on this feature, this paper introduces a dual fluid compressed air spray cooling technology. The dusty high-temperature flue gas enters from the top of the cooling tower and contacts with the fully atomized droplets downstream. The droplets are vaporized rapidly during the travel of the high-temperature flue gas in the tower, and the sensible heat is replaced by the latent heat of water evaporation. After the flue gas is quenched, it flows out from the bottom through the exhaust port. The system is equipped with an automatic pump station to provide water and compressed air with a certain pressure for the spray gun. According to the flue gas inlet and outlet temperature of the cooling tower, water spray flow, pressure and other signals, real-time calculation and control are carried out to ensure that the flue gas outlet temperature is stable within the set target range. The actual production verification of anode furnace in the copper smelting technology upgrading and transformation project of Baiyin Nonferrous Metals Group shows that the overall layout is reasonable, the process flow is smooth, the temperature regulation range is large, there is no water leakage at the bottom of the cooling tower, and various technical indicators meet the design requirements.

Abstract:The efficiency of vertical stirring mills has been widely recognized in the mineral processing industry. However, the scaling up and selection design of industrial equipment lacks theoretical support. By obtaining real-time power from laboratory tests on a 10L vertical mill and using DEM simulation to simulate the real-time torque of a vertical mill under the same conditions, the power is calculated and compared with experimental results to verify the feasibility of DEM method in predicting input power of vertical mills. The results show that the average difference between the predicted power of vertical mill based on DEM method and laboratory test is 5.55%, which proves that DEM method has strong reference value for predicting real time input power of vertical mills.

Abstract:Based on the basic monitoring and information conditions of the blast furnace at Benxi Iron and Steel Co. , Ltd. , the intelligent system of the blast furnace is constructed by using the technology of industrial sensors, data collection and industrial modeling, which breaks the isolated data island of the blast furnace production site, the transformation of ironmaking technology from“Experiential ironmaking” to“Digital ironmaking” has been promoted, and the ability of diagnosis, prediction and treatment of abnormal working conditions of blast furnace on site has been improved, it promotes the establishment of digitized, standardized and intelligent ironmaking technology system, and sets a benchmark for the application of intelligent manufacturing in ironmaking industry.

Abstract:Aiming at the difficult problem of low-level fugitive flue gas treatment in the process of converting and shaking, feeding, slag discharge and flux addition of copper smelting converter,through the analysis of process characteristics and the simulation of flue gas flow field, a new sealed car with the ability of self inhibiting slagging is developed, and the matching optimization design of the smoke collection system is carried out.The sulfur capture rate in the annular flue gas is increased by about 81.8%, and the environmental protection ability of copper smelting converter converting process is significantly improved.

Abstract:This paper introduces the design and practice of energy saving reconstruction of the recirculating cooling system for a 1.6 million t/a acid-making production line. Through data analysis and field research, main causes of the higher temperature water in heat exchangers have been found, and the main points of system energy waste have been located. On this base, the thermal performance enhances after packing replacement, and the need for flow rate and head lift of pumps decreases due to the local pressurization method. Finally, the electricity saving and water saving have achieved 3.4 million kWh and 0.5 million tons per year, respectively.

Abstract:The resistance of the conversion section of the acid production system in a smelter is too large, result the SO2 concentration difficult to increase, and the fan approaches the rated maximum power, which increases the operation cost and seriously restricts the capacity improvement of the system. By measuring the inlet and outlet pressure of the converter and heat exchanger in the conversion section, it is found that the shell side resistance of the five dish ring heat exchangers greatly exceeds the design value. To solve this problem, the CFD fluid simulation software Fluent was used to establish the shell side fluid domain model of No.Ⅰ~Ⅴ heat exchanger, and the resistance distribution was calculated. Based on the original structure, the pressure loss of the shell side of heat exchanger was reduced to a certain extent by modifying the inlet structure.

Abstract:In this paper, the solution of greatly improving the life of flash converting furnace is described. The design of furnace body needs to break through the existing ideas, adopt the new idea of design and operation of high copper liquid level with high arch foot brick, adopt suitable structure of reaction shaft, settler and uptake shaft, adopt better alloy of anti-scour and anti-slag erosion resistance in the inner surfacing layer of vertical copper water jacket of settler, and thicken properly, all copper water jacket with direct contact with flue gas or melt should be designed into convex concave shape of slag hanging slag, select calcium ferrite slag type with easy slag hanging slag, and effectively monitor the leakage of copper water jacket, which can greatly increase the life of flash converting furnace from about 4 years to 8-10 years, And can create nearly 15.9 million yuan for each company every year, if the domestic flash converting furnace adopts this technology, it will create 79.5 million yuan of income for the country every year.
