Abstract:Robot inspection is an effective way to replace manual inspection in mining field. It has the functions of continuous collection, monitoring and analysis of equipment production data. Due to the complex working conditions in the mineral processing plant, issues like poor adaptability and low positioning accuracy in the navigation of the mineral processing robot are affected, which impacts its industrial application significantly. Factoring into the special working conditions of the process plant, a VSLAM visual navigation technology is proposed in this paper. Via binocular camera and depth sensor, the real-time map construction and positioning function can be carried out, so that the robot can complete the inspection work quickly and efficiently, thus enhancing the inspection efficiency and intelligent management level.

Abstract:Taking the motor vehicle transportation operation in underground rail transportation level in the mine as the research object, using Anylogic software for simulation modeling, this paper studies the number of groups of traction locomotives and the traction mode of traction locomotives on the final capacity under the premise of given route, given transportation volume and fixed materials level distribution of the chute. Besides, the influence of the route form and the chute distribution on the transportation capacity is analyzed, and the optimal group selection method is given for the rail transportation design of the mine in the case study. This simulation has certain reference significance on the automatic operation scheduling system of the rail transportation system guided by the material level of the chute.

Abstract:Based on the production practice of the development, expansion and transformation of the Pb-Zn casting workshop of Baiyin Nonferrous Group Co., Ltd, this paper introduces the development path of the zinc melting and casting production line from manual operation, to the introduction of automatic ingot stacking robots, automatic bundling equipment, and intelligent equipment. The level of equipment has been improved and the number of labors has been reduced. The equipment has replaced labor, which solves the issues of repetitive and heavy physical labor and harsh working environment, and improves the production efficiency. With the progress of science and technology and the rapid development of network information, the ideas of the overall intelligence and digitization of zinc melting and casting production lines have been put forward, and “digital workshop” and “smart plant” in the future are envisioned.

Abstract:With the rapid development of underground mining industry, the technical level of mining equipment also improves fast, and the competition among mining equipment manufacturers is becoming increasingly fierce. To win the market, manufacturers race to adopt new technologies to improve the old products and launch new ones, thus promoting the technological innovation of underground mining equipment industry, and many new products and technologies emerge. The analysis in this paper provides reference for the development of underground mining equipment in China.

Abstract:Combining BIM, big data, digital twinning and industrial internet technologies, with Unity 3D as the front-end development platform of 3D visualization, integrating 3D scene, field operation data and virtual plant system, a 3D all-data visualization system is built to meet the needs of remote plant 3D display and synchronous presentation of operation data. By means of effective integration of the 3D design digital model and real-time operation data of the plant, the functions of query, management, training and demonstration are realized by using the 3D scene of the plant.

Abstract:In view of the existing problems such as large amount of slag and zinc loss in the neutralization and arsenic removal process of atmospheric lime oxide leachate of zinc oxide fume at present, in this paper, research on pressurized oxidation and arsenic removal is carried out to diminish weaknesses of the existing process. The results indicate that under better pressure oxidation and neutralization conditions, the arsenic removal rate is up to 99.1%, the slag content is 16.16g/L, the zinc content is down to 3.32%, the arsenic content is up to 6.83%, and the slag content and zinc loss are more than 60% and 80% lower than normal pressure, respectively.

Abstract:The antimony cathode produced by the antimony hydrometallurgical process contains impurities such as iron, arsenic, lead, and sulfur, and it is difficult for the grade and purity of antimony to reach a level that’s commercially viable, hence the antimony needs refining. The current industrial refining of antimony includes pyrorefining and aqueous electrolytic refining. The crude antimony produced has many impurities and is rich in a large amount of precious metals like gold and silver. Therefore, it is necessary to enrich and recover valuable metals such as gold and silver while removing impurities for purifying antimony. The application of aqueous electrolysis can achieve this purpose. Due to the special physical and chemical properties of antimony, attention should be paid to equipment material used in the melting and casting process of crude antimony and the electrolytic system selected for electrolytic refining.

Abstract:In the mineral processing process, the detection of ore lump size distribution is usually realized by manual sampling and screening. There exist issues like large labor consumption and inability to detect the ore lump size of the mill online in real time. Besides, there is also need to improve the grinding index, save energy and reduce consumption, and finally achieve the purpose of optimal control. In this paper, high-speed image acquisition technology is applied to monitor ore lumps at the feeding opening of the conveyor belt in real time, and the high-definition ore images are segmented via image segmentation technology. The F80 value is transmitted to the intelligent control system in real time, and the development and application of the real-time lumpiness analysis system for the feed of the mill is completed. The practical application shows that the results of ore particle size analysis can achieve granular control over the grinding process of semi-autogenous grinding, maximize the processing capacity of the mill, ensure the particle size of the grinding products, improve the grinding performance and indicators, and reduce the labor intensity of operators.

Abstract:The recovery and utilization of iron resources from red mud is of great significance to supplement the iron ore resources in China. The production process described in this paper utilizes the red mud produced after the extraction of alumina from high iron content bauxite to extract iron, and obtains iron concentrate through the process of red mud-slag screening-medium magnetic machine-roughing-cleaning-filter press. The process has the advantages of mature and reliable technology, low CAPEX and OPEX, and slight impact on the alumina process system.

Abstract:The servo located-length cutting machine, designed and manufactured by Dalian Konform Technical Co., Ltd for its own needs, is an innovative equipment used for continuous cutting of large-scale copper and aluminum profiles on continuous extrusion production lines. The mechanical design adopts sliding trolley, variable frequency travel motor, AC servo cutting material feed motor, cutting material motor, servo extrusion, and drop material collection device; the electrical control system applies touch screen, PLC, frequency converter and servo system to achieve motion control. The equipment has advantages of stable operation, good synchronization, high located-length accuracy, and neat cutting section without secondary cutting.

Abstract:This paper introduces the technological process of the secondary off-gas collection system in the converter of the flash furnace system owned by Baiyin Nonferrous Metals Group Copper Co., Ltd., analyzes the issue of off-gas escaping in the actual production process, and put forward an effective upgrading scheme from the perspective of electric control, where the low-altitude pollution at the production site is reduced, ensuring the smooth operation of the production system.

Abstract:The desulfurization system of one copper smelter in China treats smelting secondary off-gas and refining process off-gas. The two kinds of off-gas above are sent into the off-gas desulfurization system with limestone-gypsum method for treatment. The secondary off-gas includes: the gas from MO furnace and SCF, the gas from the converter furnace, the gas from the main plant building, and the gas from the refining furnace. In order to improve the desulfurization efficiency to meet the increasing emission standards, the existing desulfurization process adopts the limestone method + hydrogen peroxide method. The existing primary reverse jet scrubber is changed to the one-stage desulfurization (dust removal) tower with the lime-gypsum method for treatment. The existing desulfurization tower is used as the two-stage desulfurization tower (dust removal) with the hydrogen peroxide method for treatment. After the transformation, the desulfurization system has reached the design index, producing qualified gypsum and meeting the requirements of the off-gas emission standard.

Abstract:The overhaul of the first furnace period of the two 72MVA nickel-iron electric furnaces designed by China ENFI in Dagon Mountain, Myanmar has completed where No. 1 electric furnace, with the campaign length being six and a half years, started heating up in August 2012, and shut down for maintenance from February to May 2019; No. 2 electric furnace started heating up in May 2013, and shut down for maintenance from December 2020 to May 2021, with the campaign length of seven and a half years. This paper introduces the overhaul and design improvement of 72MVA nickel-iron electric furnace, expecting to contribute to the development of nickel-iron electric furnace technology and equipment.

Abstract:During the loading process of the loading trolley, when the center line of the belt reel does not coincide with the axis line of the reel, it is easy to roll over, resulting in major personal and equipment safety accidents. In order to ensure the intrinsic safety of the trolley, this paper develops and designs a trolley safety device by using the analysis method of deductive reasoning and the principle that the rubber roller converts the translational motion into circular motion. The trolley is transformed and applied, which overcomes the influence of human negligence and the cumulative error of instrument measurement, and ensures the safety of the trolley. It has broad application prospects, At the same time, it also provides a useful reference for the safe operation of trolleys in similar production lines.

Abstract:To explore the design and use of hot-rolled coil springs, a mathematical model was established by using Solidworks, and based on the finite element analysis of ANSYS Workbench, it was concluded that: with the same parameters, when the cross-sectional size of the spring increases, the maximum deformation of the spring will have obvious decrease accordingly. However, when the cross-sectional size increases to a certain limit, the maximum deformation of the spring hardly changes. Under the conditions of same parameters, when the cross-sectional size of the spring is increased, the maximum equivalent stress of the spring only decreases with the increase of the diameter of the spring wire within a certain range. When the limit design value is exceeded, the maximum equivalent stress increases accordingly. Through comprehensive analysis, the spring diameter is selected to be 14mm, which is consistent with the actual scenario.
