Abstract:Under the background of global energy crisis and serious environmental pollution, the clean and efficient power generation technology-direct carbon fuel cell technology, has attracted more and more attentions. China is a big consumer of coal resources, where traditional thermal power generation technology brings about serious environmental pollution and energy waste problems. Therefore, the application of coal fuel to direct carbon fuel cells has become an urgent and critical solution. This paper gives a detailed introduction to the application of different types of coal fuels in direct carbon fuel cells, which provides an important reference for addressing the issue of clean and efficient utilization of coal.

Abstract:Replacing traditional graphite anodes with high-capacity silicon materials to improve the energy density of lithium-ion batteries is a current research hot spot. Due to the low conductivity of silicon anode and the serious volume expansion effect during lithium intercalation, the silicon anode has poor rate capability and unsatisfactory cycle performance, and it is difficult to achieve commercial application. The composite of metals with excellent electrical conductivity and silicon with high lithium storage capacity is regarded as one of the effective modification strategies. This article introduces the research progress of the structure design, synthesis method and electrochemical performance of silicon-metal-based anode materials, and discusses the improvement mechanism of lithium storage performance.

Abstract:HPGR and Vertimill have widely used as new high-efficiency comminution equipment in the mining industry. This paper described the technical characteristics, comminution flow chart of process and application of the high-efficiency comminution equipment. The technical advantages of the integrated system of HPGR and Vertimill are analyzed, and the application of the integrated system of HPGR and Vertimill in the concentrator design is analyzed, which provides a reference for the research and application of the high-efficiency comminution of ore in the future.

Abstract:This bench-scale test employs high-pressure acid leaching technology to treat typical near-equatorial low-grade wet nickel laterite ore, and studies the relationship between the Ni, Co, Al and Fe leaching rates and the temperature, acid-to-ore ratio, agitator revolution speed, leaching time and slurry feed concentration in the autoclave, and then, by means of technical and economic analysis, it further analyzes the screened test results, whereby discovering the optimum process conditions for high pressure acid leaching of the nickel laterite.

Abstract:Under the current “carbon peak and carbon neutrality” policy in China, mine waste heat recovery and reuse is one of the pathways for mines to transform to green and low carbon mines. Based on this background, in view of the current situation of ventilation in an alpine mine, this paper designs a ventilation waste heat recovery scheme to solve its shaft collar antifreeze issue in cold seasons, and analyzes the waste heat recovery effect by acquiring 6-month operating data of the system. The results show that the overall operation status of each waste heat recovery unit is relatively stable, and the effect of waste heat recovery is remarkable. Compared with the electric heating scheme, it greatly reduces the energy consumption and the operating costs, and has a huge potential for application promotion.

Abstract:The underground prying trolley is a special mechanized equipment used for removing the broken and unstable pumice stones on the roof and two side slopes in the tunnel excavation and mining operations. This paper introduces the main use, technical parameters, constructional characteristics, working principle and performance of XMPYT-60 underground prying trolley and gives a comparison with other similar foreign products. It can provide a certain reference for the development, use and R&D of the prying trolleys in China.

Abstract:The boom hanger is an important component of passenger ropeways. This article, by taking the eight-passenger cabin dual boom hanger as the research object, has analyzed the influence of various load combinations on the boom hanger and its key stress components. Additionally in this article, a force analysis is conducted on the eight-passenger cabin hanger and its key stress parts, and SolidWorks software is used for modeling and finite element analysis of the relevant parts to optimize the boom structure,thereby providing a certain reference for the design of the boom hanger.

Abstract:In this paper, based on the numerical simulation method, the contact voltage drop and temperature of various lap joint methods in zinc electrolysis are simulated and analyzed, and the magnitude of voltage and temperature of the various lap joint methods is figured out; The numerical simulation method for calculating the contact voltage drop proposed in this paper provides an effective calculation method for further optimizing the cathode plate, the anode plate and their lapping structure and for reducing the DC power consumption.

Abstract:Intelligent mines are currently the general trend of the industry, and 3D visualized geological modeling is the basis for intelligent construction of mines. This article mainly focuses on the construction of a database of a lead-zinc mine based on Surpac software, and builds deposit models, block models, and surface 3D models on this basis. At the same time, graphical constraints, interval constraints, and resource/reserve estimation are carried out in this article to provide a visualized model and feasibility basis for the scientific definition of the mining method and the preparation of the production schedule for a lead-zinc mine, playing a significant role in the “cost reduction and efficiency increase” in the future production implementation process. The results show that the use of Surpac to conduct visualized 3D modeling of spatial distribution can better solve the challenges in the current mine information management era.

Abstract:As the power source of the acceleration and deceleration system of detachable ropeway, the design quality of the power take-off device has a bearing on the design excellence of the whole acceleration and deceleration system. This paper firstly analyzes the working principle of the power take-off device, and conducts a comparison and analysis of the power take-off devices of the mainstream detachable ropeway equipment on the market. And then it conducts an optimization design and modeling analysis of the existing power take-off device, followed by a finite element analysis of its key parts. As a result of the optimization design, the new power take-off device is simpler in structure and easier to adjust.

Abstract:This paper introduces the process flow and equipment used in the off-gas cleaning procedure of the acid-making system. To address the problems such as the increase of system resistance, the accumulation of acid sludge in the equipment and pipelines, and the discharge of waste acid in excess of the standard limits during the off-gas cleaning operation, this paper envisages that a pressure controller be added at the feed port of acid sludge treatment system. At the same time, it upgrades the two settling tank underflow pumps into pumps completed with VSDs, enabling variable frequency and constant pressure liquid supply via PID control. After the transformation, it effectively reduces the problem of excessive pressure in the feed pipe of the filter press the operation stability and reliability of the off-gas cleaning system is improved, and the waste acid discharge meets the designed process indexes of the waste acid treatment system.

Abstract:To address the issue of surface subsidence caused by mining activities at a gold mine,a combination of theory and numerical simulation is employed to analyze the surface subsidence law in three dimensions of vertical displacement, horizontal displacement, inclination and curvature,based on the FLAC3D software. The results show that at the end of the mine production, the maximum vertical subsidence is 166.5mm, the maximum horizontalsubsidence is 175mm, the maximum surface inclination is 0.6mm/m, the maximum curvature is 0.0052mm/m2, and the maximum horizontal deformation is 0.404mm/m. The maximum subsidence and deformation are both within the safety factor, which can ensure safe operation and stability of the mining area.

Abstract:This paper introduces the off-gas-based acid making process, the sulfur dioxide compressor and its VSD device of a smelter. It provides a list of resistance calculation formula for the main equipment, pipelines, tower packing, demister and conversion catalyst bed, and gives a statistics of actually measured data on the system resistance of the sulfuric acid plant under different loads of the sulfur dioxide compressor, analyzes the resistance variations of the main systems of the sulfuric acid plant under different loads of the compressor, and puts forward its suggestion that the sulfuric acid plant may use sulfur dioxide compressor complete with VSD when conditions permit.

Abstract:This paper introduces the design principles of the thermal energy utilization project, which sends the hot water resources produced by the chain grate-rotary kiln pellet production line in a pellet plant to the boiler room, and then sends the high-temperature hot water heated by the heat exchanger to the various heat users, in addition to the basic parameters, added equipment as well as balance and management measures for a stable heating system. The waste heat of the high-temperature return water resulting from the cooling of the hollow upper idler shaft of the chain grate can thus be recycled, thereby reducing the production costs.

Abstract:To address the technical difficulties in comprehensive recovery of germanium from zinc leaching residue, this paper conducts a theoretical and practical research and analysis. By taking technical transformation measures such as oxygen-enriched combustion in rotary kiln, oxygen-enriched leaching, and germanium precipitation process optimization, the grade of germanium precipitation with tannin has been increased from 1.0%~1.5% to 3% to 4%, and the recovery rate of germanium has been increased from 45%~50% to 65%~70%.
