Abstract:With the popularization of intelligent terminals and the coming of “5G era”, the quantity of used LiCoO2 batteries has been increasing year by year. Due to its rich Co content, used LiCoO2 battery is an important source to ease the tight supply of Co in China. Thus, its recycle is of great practical significance. In this paper, the status quo of study on the recycle of used LiCoO2 batteries is introduced, and the recycling methods are analyzed from the respects of advantages and disadvantages. These methods mainly include pyrogenic process, wet process, material regeneration, etc. Moreover, the research and development trends of recycling used LiCoO2 batteries are discussed.

Abstract:With the continuous and further development of new energy vehicles and energy storage industry, the quantity of used lithium ion batteries has been increasing by years. The recycle of used LiFePO 4 batteries has multiple benefits and thus becomes a research hotspot. In this paper, the research progress of recycling used LiFePO 4 batteries in recent years is introduced; the regeneration and recycling methods are especially analyzed, mainly including direct regeneration and wet process for recovering Li and so on; the advantages and disadvantages of each technical solution are analyzed; and the major developmental direction of recycling used LiFePO 4 batteries is expected.

Abstract:The characteristics and structure of the waste heat boiler for nonferrous metallurgy is introduced, followed by the development history, technical breakthrough and part of track records of China ENFI in terms of the WHBs for nonferrous metallurgy. Finally, the technological superiority and application cases of the mechanical rapping ash removal device are presented. The device is a patented product of China ENFI.

Abstract:The constant exploitation of mineral resources has aggravated mining conditions and brought various unsafe factors in underground mining to the focus of attention. With the development of information technology, mining automation technology is changing constantly. The automation and intelligent development of equipment is expected to tackle this problem. In this paper, the application of unmanned intelligent equipment in Dayin gezhuang gold deposit is introduced based on the actual condition of the deposit, including the functions and application effects of unmanned electric locomotive haulage system and beyond visual range remote control load-haul-dump. Unmanned equipment can improve production efficiency and reduce labor costs and safety hazards, thus boasting a broad market prospect.

Abstract:Developing the new energy industry is an important means to achieve the goal of “Double Carbon”, whereas the core of developing the new energy industry lies on advanced energy storage technologies. Ternary material has become a mainstream energy storage material. The research on the instability mechanism of ternary material can provide guidance for the recycle of spent cathode materials. In this paper, the reasons for ternary material instability are introduced, including cation mixing, thermal instability, surface instability, microcrack, etc. Of these reasons, the microcrack is the key source for the instability of ternary material. Besides, the feasible strategies and ways for recycling spent cathode materials are expected.

Abstract:Developing new energy vehicles (NEV) is an important measure to achieve the goal of “Double Carbon”. As the major power source of NEV, ternary lithium ion batteries have been increased by years in both production and sales, which leads to an explosive generation of used ternary lithium ion batteries. The recycle of used ternary lithium ion batteries has multiple benefits in terms of resource, environmental protection, economy and so on. In this paper, the research progress in recent years on the recycle of used ternary lithium ion batteries is introduced, including the pre-treatment and recycling technologies of these batteries. The recycling technologies include pyrometallurgical process, hydrometallurgical process, direct regeneration, etc. The merits and defects of these technologies are analyzed and the developmental direction of recycling spent ternary material is expected.

Abstract:An experimental study is carried out for the chlorination leaching of low-nickel matte. The effect of initial acidity, potential and initial copper ion concentration on the leaching rate of Ni, Cu, Co and precious metal elements in the low-nickel matte is studied. The results show that under such leaching conditions as initial H+ concentration 0.5mol/L, initial Cu2+ concentration 5g/L, leaching potential 450~460mV and leaching duration 2h, the leaching rate of Ni, Cu, Fe and Co can reach above 98%, Ag leaching rate is more than 95% and Au leaching rate is appr. 5%; no Pt and Pd are leached out.

Abstract:High iron tin ore is one of the important tin ore resources. The concentrate after magnetic separation contains 0.93% Sn and 0.93% Fe, In order to realize the efficient utilization of this type of concentrate, the chlorination reduction roasting process was adopted, the reaction temperature is 1000℃, and the experimental ratio is controlled. When the coke powder (anthracite), calcium chloride and lime were 6%, 5% and 2.7% respectively, 96.88% of tin in the concentrate volatilized as SnCl 4 gas, and tin could be recovered by electrowinning after water adsorption; the content of Sn in the roasting slag decreased to 0.029%, and other metals such as Fe, Zn and Cu, the content of are 63.90%, 0.062% and 0.12%, which can be directly sold as iron ore. At the same time, the feasibility of treating this type of minerals by carbothermal reduction sulfurization roasting was studied. Under the reaction conditions of 1150℃ and adding 6% coke powder and 4% pyrite respectively, more than 95% of tin in the raw material can be volatilized in the form of SnS to achieve the purpose of recovering tin.

Abstract:To reduce environmental pollution and prevent harmful substances produced from salt additives, salt-free aluminum additives are used to replace the flux additives that contain salts. The feasibility of using the aluminum additives is analyzed from the aspects of appearance, smoke generation, yield rate and so on. Specimens are taken from ingots for analysis. The results show that the ingots casted by using aluminum additives meet the relevant standard no matter by low and high-magnification inspection or in the term of composition segregation; meanwhile, the environmental pollution is reduced and the physical and mental health of operators can be protected.

Abstract:An automatic protection device for preventing overtemperature at the inlet of ESPs is introduced. The device can effectively control the inlet temperature of ESPs. The associated spray cooling device humidifies smelting off-gas while reducing the EPS inlet temperature, thus effectively adjusting the specific resistance of the dust and the content of sulfur trioxide in the off-gas, and solving the problems caused by the output increase of smelting system, such as overtemperature at the ESP inlet, deformation of anode plate, decline of duct collection efficiency, equipment corrosion, etc.

Abstract:With the rapid development of domestic industry, the amount of industrial waste generated is increasing year by year. Because it contains a variety of toxic and hazardous substances such as heavy metals, it cannot be directly discharged into the natural environment and needs to be treated in a harmless manner. This paper gives an overview of the domestic hazardous waste industry status and disposal technology, focusing on the structural characteristics and industrial application of the industrial waste comprehensive treatment furnace developed by China ENFI Engineering Corporation.

Abstract:According to the processing characteristics of the domestic low-grade magnetite, this paper analyzes and studies the production situation of many domestic magnetite concentrators with pre-separation and sorting process, and verifies that in the processing of low-grade magnetite, the pre-separation and sorting process has the advantages of reducing beneficiation energy consumption and beneficiation ratio, reducing concentrate processing cost and tailings treatment cost, and it is of practical significance for improving the economic benefits of low-grade magnetite enterprises.

Abstract:Diaphragm pump is a “heart” equipment in the remote slurry transportation system. Especially in the long-distance pipeline transportation system of high abrasion and high concentration of solid-liquid two-phase medium, diaphragm pump is irreplaceable by others. Diaphragm pump is of simple structure, sturdy and durable, easy to operate, and most of the parts are easy to be fabricated; the power end is the part with most technological difficulties of the entire diaphragm pump, including relatively precise parts such as crankshafts, connecting rods, piston cylinders, crossheads, etc. Especially for crankshafts, it requires specific equipment to complete the processing. This paper discusses the structural transformation of the power end to reduce the difficulty of processing key parts, thereby reducing costs and improving efficiency.

Abstract:Gas transmission station is responsible for gas pressurization, transmission and distribution, and its operation safety is related to the operation of the whole system. Studying the hazardous factors and preventive measures of gas transmission station can clearly identify the risk factors hidden in gas transmission station, guide the daily maintenance and management of the station, and achieve the purpose of controlling the occurrence of accidents and ensuring the safety of gas pipelines. In this paper, the comprehensive analysis method combining preliminary hazard analysis with MLS evaluation is used to analyze and summarize various risk factors of gas transmission station, so as to determine the potential risk factors, risk grades and accident severity, and put forward corresponding prevention and control measures.

Abstract:Taking a company as an example, following the principles of matching energy utilization and energy cascade utilization, this paper introduces the recovery and utilization mode of waste heat in each procedure of copper smelting in details. The obtained superheated steam enters the waste heat power generation system to generate electricity, thus the steam heat energy is converted into electric energy. In order to avoid the change of steam grade entering the steam turbine due to the change of process operation in smelting system, a heat storage device is added before the steam turbine. Through the three-stage superposition utilization of the above waste heat, the power generation can reach 200kW·h/t steam.

Abstract:The capacity of crushing system in a copper concentrator in Shanxi is low, which does not match the demand of ball mill, resulting in difficulties in production organization. After test study, it is determined that for prescreening, the upper screen mesh is 50mm×70mm and the lower screen mesh is 12mm×25mm; for check screening, the upper screen mesh is 20mm×35mm and the lower screen mesh is 12mm×25mm; the ore discharge spacing of secondary crusher is 31~33mm, and that of tertiary crusher is 11~13mm. At the same time, a new type of high-elastic screen plate is adopted to improve the screening efficiency. In daily management, it is necessary to strengthen equipment maintenance and organize production reasonably so as to ensure efficient and stable operation of crushing system.
