This paper introduces the working principle and composition of the anodic protection acid cooler in the flue gas acid production system of the roasting system in the northwest Lead and zinc smelter of Baiyin Nonferrous Metals Group, and analyzes the corrosion leakage phenomenon of the anodic protection acid cooler and the problems that can not be found and treated effectively in time. From the aspect of monitoring technology, an effective reform scheme is proposed, and the acid leakage alarm device is applied in actual production. It can detect the leakage of anode protection acid cooler in time, reduce the damage rate of equipment and water pollution, and ensure the smooth operation of the production system.
