    Abstract:

    The purification process is a key step in zinc hydrometallurgy, and obtaining the reaction state of the process in a timely and accurate manner is the basis for realizing the optimal operation of the process. Oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) is an important parameter to characterize the degree of oxidation-reduction reaction inside the reactor, which has been used in various industrial processes. In this paper, a set of potential detection system was developed for the cobalt removal process with antimony salts, and a potentiometer protection device was designed for the problem of zinc powder adhesion. The practical application shows that the antimony salt cobalt removal potential detection system developed in this paper can run stably for a long time on site and provide guidance for production.
