This paper takes Emerson DeltaV system and INVT GD350 VFD (variable-frequency drive) communication as an example, through software configuration and communication parameter setting, to illustrate the specific implementation method of Profibus DP communication protocol. Profibus DP communication features simple wiring and convenient parameter setting, thus it is highly reliable and widely applied.
