NOUFERROUS METALLURGICAL EQUIPMENT

This paper looks at the phenomenon of spontaneous combustion of white soot in the electric precipitator of the oxygen-rich bottom-blow melting and blowing system of SDIC Jincheng Metallurgical Co., Ltd. It analyzes and summarizes the causes, hazards and preventive measures for the spontaneous combustion of white soot. A series of improvement measures has been effected taking into account practical conditions and production status in the three years since the system was first put into production, effectively curtailing the spontaneous combustion of white soot. On-site environmental pollution and packaging staff health hazards caused by white soot spontaneous combustion, increased labor intensity and cost inflation due to re-packaging, lack of long-term storage solutions and other related issues have also been thereby addressed.
