NOUFERROUS METALLURGICAL EQUIPMENT

It is one of the main tasks of electrical engineering design to check the starting of motor and select a reasonable starting mode of motor according to the power grid conditions of different projects. Combined with the small power system of smelting enterprises built in mountainous areas， this paper focuses on how to solve the starting problem of high-power medium-voltage motor， carries out calculation and analysis of motor starting， and uses ETAP electrical calculation and analysis software to simulate the motor starting， and puts forward a solution to the motor starting of this small-capacity power system.
