With the development of digital and intelligent technology, the establishment of automation and intelligence in smelting industry is imperative. This paper expounds requirements of different parameter perception on fine selection of detection instruments used in nonferrous metals smelting environment. The DCS control system structure is of integral, large-scale and networked configuration to realize automation, informationization and intellectualization in production control and management.
