To address the technical difficulties in comprehensive recovery of germanium from zinc leaching residue, this paper conducts a theoretical and practical research and analysis. By taking technical transformation measures such as oxygen-enriched combustion in rotary kiln, oxygen-enriched leaching, and germanium precipitation process optimization, the grade of germanium precipitation with tannin has been increased from 1.0%~1.5% to 3% to 4%, and the recovery rate of germanium has been increased from 45%~50% to 65%~70%.
