Abstract:The technology on the process equipment of modern Al electrolytic cell is heading towards large capacity, high efficiency and energy efficiency. This article summarizes the features of the structure and existing problems of the Al electrolytic cell, analyzes factors affecting cell deformation by simulating the stress of the cathode carbon lining and proposes corrective measures for cell deformation, with integrated consideration to problems that occur during production process, such as the bending deformation of large plate, the rise of small plate and defect of cradle critical weld.
