China’s vigorous promotion of EPC(M) business has accelerated the transformation of the design companies in various industries from conventional enterprises focusing on basic business systems including survey， design and consultation to engineering enterprises with EPC(M) as their main business support. However， there are also some unsuccessful cases in the process of transformation as the enterprises may face many issues related to technology， economics， and management in the process of transformation and development. Hereby， this article aims to sort out some practical issues that the enterprise may encounter in the process of transformation from an economic perspective， put forward some targeted thoughts and countermeasures， with a view to intrigue some inspiration to the colleagues in the industry.
