    Abstract:

Calcination of electrolytic manganese slag is a kind of treatment method to realize the harmless and resource utilization of electrolytic manganese slag. In addition to sulfur dioxide, the flue gas generated after calcination often contains a large amount of ammonia. Ammonia is efficiently washed in the purification section, dissolved in water, and combined with sulfur trioxide and sulfur dioxide to form a mixed solution of ammonium sulfate, ammonium sulfite and ammonia bisulfite. The pungent smell will be released in the process of transportation and pressure filtration, which will seriously pollute the operating environment. Based on the traditional acid making process and ammonia recovery system, this paper introduces and discusses the design of this kind of acid making system from flue gas.
