Indonesia is rich in nickel resources, ranking first in the world in terms of reserves and production, and its influence on the worlds nickel industry will also increase day by day. Based on official information and scholars research, this paper summarizes the distribution, characteristics and main metallurgical processes of nickel laterite resources in Indonesia, providing a reference for the development and metallurgy of nickel ore in Indonesia.
