Abstract:To address the issue of surface subsidence caused by mining activities at a gold mine,a combination of theory and numerical simulation is employed to analyze the surface subsidence law in three dimensions of vertical displacement, horizontal displacement, inclination and curvature, based on the FLAC3D software. The results show that at the end of the mine production, the maximum vertical subsidence is 166.5mm, the maximum horizontalsubsidence is 175mm, the maximum surface inclination is 0.6mm/m, the maximum curvature is 0.0052mm/m2, and the maximum horizontal deformation is 0.404mm/m. The maximum subsidence and deformation are both within the safety factor, which can ensure safe operation and stability of the mining area.
