This paper describes the development process of tailings concentration and dehydration technology, the development status of paste concentration technology and equipment, combined with the problems in the application of paste concentration, through the research and analysis of the major paste concentration process and equipment, puts forward the paste deep concentration process, to develop a new type of vertical sand bin for deep concentration of tailings, the characteristics and advantages of the new type of concentration equipment are introduced, which provides a reference for the selection and design of paste concentration equipment.
