Fluoritefrom tailings of polymetallic ore is valuable for recovery, but the mineral composition of the tailings is extremely complex and the content of weak magnetic minerals is high. Before fluoriteflotation, a new processing technology of pre-discarding tailings was adopted to remove weak magnetic minerals by intensity magnetic separation. The weak magnetic minerals were discarded as tailings, and the non-magnetic minerals were concentrated as fluorite flotation feed. The results show that fluorite concentrate of 97.58% CaF 2 with recovery 59.61% was obtained by using magnetic flotation combined process of intensity magnetic separation, water exchange and fluorite flotation. The process can obtain good results and has a broad application prospect.
