Sustainable Mining and Metallurgy

With the increasing amount of waste from fiber-reinforced thermoset composites, their recycling has become another common concern of the industry, which requires urgent solution. The author herein introduced and compared the main technologies and methods for recycling fiber-reinforced thermoset composites at home and abroad, including physical recovery method, energy recovery method and chemical recovery method, analyzed with application cases the status quo of relevant technological research and industrialization at home and abroad, and proposed suggestions based on the industry’s development trend.
